Edge banding
The purpose of edge banding is protection and aesthetic decoration. There are three common edge banding processes: EVA edge banding, PUR edge banding, and laser edge banding.

01 EVA edge banding
Advantages: low price, simple operation.
Disadvantages: easily cracked by temperature and humidity, with obvious glue lines, affecting appearance.

02 PUR edge banding
Advantages: not easy to crack, good sealing, strong stability, no obvious glue line
Disadvantages: higher price than EVA edge banding

03 Laser edge banding
Advantages: not easy to crack, no glue marks, exquisite appearance, high moisture resistance, anti-fouling.
Disadvantages: Expensive, only laser-specific edge banding can be used, so the color is single.

Laser edge banding is expensive and has a single color, for example, it cannot produce wood grain color. Compared with EVA edge banding, PUR edge banding uses less glue, is not sensitive to temperature, is durable and environmentally friendly.
